We meet at a designated Naples beach access point. Kellie will confirm the exact location when you book. Parking is easy and free at most locations.

The Walk

Sessions are 50 minutes of walking and talking. The pace is gentle and conversational — this is therapy, not exercise. We walk at whatever speed feels comfortable for you.

Full Therapeutic Depth

Kellie brings her full clinical skill set to every beach session. Expect the same depth, insight, and personalized attention as an in-office session — just with the sound of waves.

What to Bring

Comfortable walking shoes or sandals, sunscreen, and water. Kellie handles everything else. Dress for the weather — Naples is warm most of the year.

Yes — research supports the effectiveness of Walk & Talk therapy for a wide range of concerns. Many clients find it more effective than office-based therapy because the natural environment lowers their defenses and helps them open up more freely.

What if it rains or the weather is bad?

Sessions are rescheduled at no charge when weather makes outdoor work impractical. Kellie monitors forecasts and will reach out proactively if a session needs to be moved. We can also switch to a virtual session if you prefer.

Is this appropriate for serious mental health issues?

Walk & Talk therapy is suitable for most concerns — anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, grief, and more. It is not recommended for active crisis situations, severe dissociation, or conditions requiring close clinical monitoring. Kellie will discuss suitability during your discovery call.

What about privacy on a public beach?

Kellie selects meeting locations and walking routes that offer natural privacy. The ambient sound of waves also provides a natural sound buffer. All standard confidentiality protections apply, and Kellie is trained to handle unexpected encounters professionally.

Can I combine beach sessions with regular office or virtual sessions?

Absolutely — many clients alternate between in-office, virtual, and beach sessions depending on what they need each week. Kellie will help you design a schedule that works best for your goals and lifestyle.
